Meet the founder

Shazray Malik holds a degree in Childhood Studies from the University of Bristol and is a certified Mindfulness and Meditation Teacher through the University of California, Berkeley.

She has taught meditation to hundreds of children living in the slums of Karachi, in collaboration with organizations such as the Kiran Foundation, Imkaan Welfare Organization, and The Garage School.

Shazray specializes in confidence-building and social-emotional learning, helping every child unlock their full potential. She has developed her own original curriculum and has led sessions in some of Karachi’s leading schools, including Bay View Academy, Haque Academy, The C.A.S. School, Civitas, and Veritas Learning Circle.

Her work has positively impacted and transformed the lives of countless children, parents, and educators — and she continues to be a powerful force for change in the world of education.

Sakina gave a wonderful performance today in her poetry recitation. It's all thanks to Shazray, who boosted Sakina's confidence, enabling her to shine. I wish and pray that when my daughters grow up, they'll possess the same qualities as Shazray's confidence, love, and compassion. You've raised her exceptionally well.
